Don't Fail To Fail

What a sad story, of the person who did nothing right,
They tried and tried, failing each time they put up a fight.
They never got any better, but never started to cry,
Because in the end they knew, it was better to try.

Certain people do not attempt, and thus fall short,
Before they ever start, before one can retort.
How will one find their passion, if they never lose,
How will one shine in life, if only their best they choose?

Often the things we are worst at, help us grow the most,
Because they broaden our lives, and for that we can boast.
If you want to be the best, then first know that you are not,
Excellence is achieved by chance, and it is never ever sought.

Lose at something every day, and get embarassed as well,
Because only then will you learn, only then will you excel.
Those who are boring, and cannot tell a pretty tale,
Are those who end up sad, and are those who fail to fail.
