I know this blog was only made for Spring break, but the story was getting interesting, maybe that should be taken into consideration, maybe Dave still needs to figure things out... ??

This is a sad story, no doubt. Good creativity to come up with something like this, where'd u think of doing a piece like that?

There are tons of people like Dave.
If you know a Dave, be sure to talk to them before it's too late.

Great fiction - too bad its all too easy to see it as non-fiction. You should write more short stories. Very riveting. Yea - we all know a Dave or a Mike. Luckily most grow up, realize they shouldn't have been so "crazy" or so "reserved" and do just great as adults. Too bad some just aren't able to live through the tough years and they die of things due to drinking/drugs - or depression. Growing up isn't a big party - it's hard.

I know that I haven't commented on anything in a while, but believe me, I'm still lurking in the shadows reading your stuff man. I actually read this right after spring break but didn't get around to commenting 'til now, sorry about that.

But yeah, It's a very interesting piece. My favorite part was the car ride. I could feel every bit of it, having lived it myself. It's funny how fragile we are, the divine comedy. Each soul is no more infallible than the next, it's just learning how to cope with ourselves that makes all the difference. Cheers man, hope to see more short story type efforts from you
