No, it's because I love you

I delicately form a cocoon,
with my arms,
around your body.
Is it because you're sad?

I gently rake your hair,
with my fingers,
so I can see your face.
Is it because you're sick?

I form a roguish grin,
with my mouth,
when you try to hide.
Is it because you're self-conscious?

I hold on to your waist,
with my hand,
until you're used to my touch.
Is it because you're passive?

No, it isn't anything like that,
and it never will be.

from the title of this poem i thought the ending would be "No, it's because I love you." Do the last two sentences mean that the person thinks they will never have any of this?
